Personal History

My Name is Missy Hackett, I'm 20 years old and live in Edmonton Alberta, Canada. I've been involded in Motocross since I was 10 years old, and have been racing the Canadian Womens National Series since 2006. In 2007 my family travelled across Canada to all the rounds and I placed 3rd against Heidi Cooke and Jolene Van Vugt. 2008 was looking good I was signed by Otsff Rockstar Suzuki but unfourtantly a crash and a broken collarbone ended the first round for me. I came back only to break my other collarbone. I looked forward to the 2009 season and riding for another team, Leading Edge Kawasaki, but working 9-5 5 days a week my fitness was not were I anticipated, and a injury to the wrist kept me from the final few rounds. In 2010 I decided to take it easy and let my body heal properly racing for fun and no pressure was just what I need to come back in 2011.

Riding Goals

My goals for this year is to train my hardest and keep my fitness level at its highest through the year. I will be racing the Western Canadian Womens Nationals as well as the Western Amatuer Nationals. My main goal is to come back and win but also to be consistent in all of my motos and go for high overall finishes.
