Personal History
Mike here, I’m pretty new to the world of supercross in the racing aspect of things. I have always had a desire to give it a try, but there was always something else going on in life. I started my racing career behind the wheel of a 4cylinder “cruiser” car, where I had a pretty successful turnout. I raced the car for three consecutive seasons with a top 5 overall in points, rookie of the year, and most popular driver in my first year, followed by a few wins and a 3rd place tie overall in 2010 and a 4th in overall points in 2011. We decided to move up to what we thought was bigger and better things and tried our luck in an open wheel DIRT Sportsman car in 2012. We had a mishap early on in the season that ultimately ended our shot in the dirt oval world. Fast forward to 2020. I’m the same guy with the urge to go fast, but can’t afford a race car...so the hamster wheel in my head starts racing a million miles an hour and I buy a dirt bike. The first season went all but good for me in my 250C debut. Week 1 ended in the bike not performing to any spec and getting a DNF. We battled and fought to end up a mid pack rider for the rest of the season, so I couldn’t complain. This season I had the goal of finishing on the podium at least once, but that goal still seems a bit out of reach with a 20+ rider field week after week.
Riding Goals
My goals are modest to be quite honest. I would love to feel comfortable on my bike, which in turn would result in better finishes week to week
