May 18, I tried jumping out of the back of a truck on my bmx bike, well I went face first over my bars. I crushed my left eye socket and cracked my skull. On the moday after, May 21, they rushed me into the O.R. and performed brain surgery. They cut me from ear to ear and placed 2 titanium plates in my head. Today Im going to get 50 staples taken out of my head...hopefully the doc will let me ride again someday...

Well...today I raced my first race on my 125 since my 250f has something messed up in the carborator...I line up. I get 4th into the first corner, pass 2 guys in 2 laps and pull up to second. Trying to take the lead, i jumped a little double too fast and my back end slung out to my right, and when i landed, my momentum threw me into the leaders back tire. I went over the bars.
I do not remember any of my race, my mom had to tell me what all happened. My mom said when she ran over to me, i asked her "have I raced yet?" I couldnt remember my name, where I lived, or where I was and what I was doing. It was the weirest feeling after I came to... I felt so stupid. I couldnt answer any questions at all.
Now I have 2 busted lips. bruised ribs, shoulder, shoulder blades, calf, thigh, and my head. I have to buy a new helmet now because mine is cracked in half. So...better luck next time...
