Personal History

I would consider myself to be a Kevin Windahm on a local level. I love to compete and will NEVER back down from a great battle.. but i believe i keep my competitiveness in check and am a sportsman above all. I love all forms of two wheeled racing, but my budjet allows to choose one. I've dreamt of being a skilled dirtbike rider since the first time i saw a real dirtbike, now at that level, i look back at those i admired the most, the fast guys who whould pull me and my ratty bike aside and give me tips on how to go faster, or how to take better care of my bike. I love to look into fellow riders eyes and see the fear turn to fire as i coach them into doing things they never thought they could on a motorcycle. All around i believe i am a great advoicate of the sport, and i plan to ride until my body simply will not allow it. Now just finding about mxsponsor.com for the first time, i hope to build relationships and become an advocate of brands and products i TRULY believe in. In in return all i ask is for support on those products so i can afford to stay on the bike.

Riding Goals

My goal this year is simple.. stay healthy, and keep it on 2 wheels. i know i have the speed to be a consistent top 5 contender in the open A and 450 a classes. my trouble has always been that i think i can go faster than i really can, resulting in a lot of DNF's. I have taken up mountain biking as a serious crosstraining tool and it's been helping my end-of-the-moto sprints, most of my passes happen in the last 3 laps when others fade i pour it on! i plan to continue the training regimen and post solid results.

Competitive Highlights

I recently wrapped up my first series championship wins. The Billings Motorcycle Club hosts a 4- race friday night series sponsored by the local Kawasaki dealership, Known as the Reiter's Cup MX Series. With focus on staying upright and getting consistent solid finishes i managed to take both the 450A and VetA series championship!
