Personal History
HI there, My name is Michael William Swankie, I am a 20 year old out of Buckhorn Ontario. I have been riding since i was 5 years old and love motocross. I have been racing for a few years now and wanna go bigger with this. Motocross is my life. I work on Sleds, ATV's. I am the youngest of my family, I have 4 siblings 3 brothers and 1 sister. My parents are married and try to help out as much as they can but cant help out anymore with racing. I was part of the Honda race team for CSBK in Ontario. we won 3 championships in a row. I was part of the crew. at the time i worked for Acclerated technologies and we were a huge sponsor for lots of other rides at the track. helping others with suspension setup and handling. last year i came second in the novice a class. I currently am a mechanic at Hb Cycle in lindsay
Riding Goals
The goals i wanna reach and is my dream is race pro. since i was young and first rode a bike i feel in love with the sport and wanna become the next Ricky Carmichael. Every year i push my self harder and harder to reach this goal and i think its time i call out for some help and get some support and get a race team going. I ride and race because i feel like its the only job i am good at and can stick with. I plan to Promote my Sponsors to the fullest i can on and off the track. i wanna take first place this year in cmr nationals, at the walton RockStar triple crown event.
Competitive Highlights
I have been vary competitive my whole life and push my self to win, The first time i rode a track 4 years ago i feel in love with it and would never pass it up, i felt vary comfy and secure in the air and controlled racing with others. this year i got 3rd and 1st a few times and i also i placed Second in the novice a division this year. Hope to take first this up coming season. Also i hope to podium in the nationals at walton raceway.
