Personal History

My name is Mike Muizelaar. I've grown up my whole life with a big family in the country. I am a college graduate, work full-time and also volunteer as much as I can. Over the years I've been involved in many motorsports such as dirtbiking, quading, snowmobiling and drifting. I've also been involved with many sports such as football, baseball, skateboarding and snowboarding. I've done all my own work in my parents shop on all my toys including building and modifying two Nissan 240sx drift cars. I've given up alot of those this year so I can focus on dirtbiking and motocross.

Riding Goals

I've decided on motocross because I feel it's a way I can fuel my adrenaline and competitive needs. I got out of dirtbiking In the past because of axhool and jobs but now that I have completed both Im eager to get back on the bike and work hard to achieve my goals. I've always loved dirtbiking and can't be happier to get back into it.

This year I am focusing on practise and getting as much seat time as possible on my bike. I am devoting all of my spare time to riding and making progress on the track. I've always been involved with fitness but this year I am aiming it towards training for motocross. I plan on making trips to all the local tracks throughout the summer to get the best practise experience possible. Nearing the end of the season I plan to compete in a couple races to get a feel for the race experience. Also to give me insight on what I need to work on so I will have the winter to work on those areas. I am also building a practise track so I can get alot of seat time in.

Next year I plan to race with WNY racing and the CMRC, competing in as many moto's as I can.  I am located in the middle of those regions so It is very convenient to compete with both racing series and will give me a wide range of race experiences.
