Personal History
My names Mike Steven and I'm 22 years old from Waterloo, IA. I'm attending UNI and my plans are to become a Physical Therapist someday. I started racing when I was 15 and I have made up a lot of ground and I'm beating people who have raced twice as long as me. I'm a laid back person who likes to joke around, I don't let things get to me and just have fun. Other than racing, I like to go to Okaboji and go out on the boat and jet ski. I love working out and staying in shape.
Riding Goals
For the first part of the National Arenacross Series I plan on just racing amateur day because I feel I am not 100% from breaking my ankle yet. The last couple rounds I plan on racing pro night. My goal is to qualify for the Arenacross World Finals in Los Vegas for 2009. For the outdoor season I plan on doing most of the amateur nationals and when I'm not racing one of those races, I will be racing in Milleville, MN. I feel that the Milleville track is a rough track and great to test your skills and conditioning on. This winter I will also be taking a trip to Texas and Florida to ride and train.
Competitive Highlights
In 2005 I qualified for the Ponca City Amateur National in 125B mod.
