Personal History
Hi, my name Michael Witson I am 19 years old, I have been riding for seven years and in 2009 I started racing motocross. Racing is not just a sport for me it is a way of life. I have grown up around the sport of racing and love it! My family owns a racing team (The Race House Inc) and we have raced karts, sprint cars, midgets, formula cars, stock cars and more. I have been the head mechanic and big part of the team for many years. I am currently going to college studying motor-sports technology. This year I am running in B Class (Amateur). I will be racing a couple different districts and series because I am not able to go for any championships with going away to school. My bikes for the season are a 2007 yz125 and a 2012 rmz250.
Riding Goals
For this season I will be in B Class (Amateur). I really want to focus on getting solid consistent results and run up front. I hope to pull off some more moto wins and overalls this season. So far I am pretty happy with my riding this year! As a rider I feel like I get good starts and i hope to keep that up and improve and grab the holeshot more.
Competitive Highlights
Won my first race in June of 2010. In the 2012 season I have really improved and have been able to bring home several overall wins in the 125 2 stroke only class and a whole bunch of top 5 and 10 overalls in my other classes. If I didn't have to go away to school, I feel like i would definitely be in the run for the championship in my classes.
