Personal History
Hello, My name is Mike. I am 17 years old. I was introduced to Motocross when I was approximately 4 years old. My family has owned Harley Davidson motorcycles for many years and with myself being born into a family of only 3 boys, I was pretty much destined to ride a bike of some sort. I grew up on a farm, with a great deal of land in which my father decided to turn into a dirt track to ride motocross, 4-wheelers, and anything else that could handle the obstacles that we could throw at it. As I got older, my training on that track got a lot harder, and more advanced along with the size and advancement levels of the track. Besides racing Motocross, I am a Junior in High School. I have 1 sister who is 18 and wants to be a cosmetologist. My father is an Auto-Mechanic and I have learned a great deal about automobiles from him. I like to do my own mechanical work on my bikes if its not to complex. On my spare time, I like to take my family and friends to the skate park and ride BMX and try some new tricks.
Riding Goals
Riding Motocross for me is my passion. It clears my mind from everyday stresses that I may have, and gives me a sense of freedom that you can only find from riding. Within the next couple of years, I would like to be on the professional riding circuit, qualify for the Loretta Lynns and to be the best motocross rider this side of the Mississippi. I would like to travel to bigger races throughout the entire country. I would like the opportunity to not only practice with but race against some of the nations best motocross racers. Last but definitely not least, I would LOVE to be sponsored by someone that has faith in me and my skills as a motocross rider.
Competitive Highlights
I haven't really had many achievements yet. I have won many trophies, but I am just starting to scratch the surface at riding. I am not even close to winning the awards that I want yet, but the trophies I do have are wonderful. I am very proud of the hard work and determination ethics that I have, which has gotten me as far as it has. I have a long way to go, and I want to show the world what a great motocross racer I am. I am determined to out race the best of the best out there, and to achieve success. I just know, that with the right help, we can be unstoppable.
