Personal History
I have been married since 1989, and a father of two adult children. I have been Manufacturing Engineer at Daniel Defense since 2011. I am a 6th degree Grand Master in Taekwondo, in which I have been teaching since 1985. I started riding/racing in 1977 on a Suzuki RM80 and raced through 1987. When I stopped racing in 87, I was a top ten local 250B class rider. I raced again in 2005/2006 and tore my ACL and stopped riding. Though I took a lot of time off from riding I always loved and continued to follow Motocross and Supercross.
Riding Goals
At 57 years old I no longer have children at home and my wife works a lot of weekends, so I decided to give it one more go. I have missed riding over the years, and I love it more than ever right now. I know I will never be as fast as I was when I was nineteen, but I love the freedom of riding and the feeling of accomplishment and confidence I get as I improve with every ride. I ride every weekend at which ever track with in a two-hour radius is having open practice days. My goal is to race and be competitive again in the 55+ class starting in the spring of 2025.
Competitive Highlights
I have no recent highlights. My highlights are from the 1980's. I had over seventy trophies and finished in the top ten for season points in the local association of tracks (CRA) in the 125B and 250B class. My two favorite places to race where High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, PA and Ohio International Raceway in Ravenna Ohio.
