Personal History
I received my first dirtbike when I was 13. It was a 1985 Yamaha IT200, and it had been sitting for 7 years. The bike didn't run, and I knew nothing about it. When i was 15 I regained interest in it, and with the help of a friend, got it running again. The crankshaft seals were shot in it so it would blow white smoke out the exhaust. When I first rode it, I drove into a house, used the foundation as a berm, bounced off of it, then proceeded to wheelie for 20 or so feet, and drove up a hill until the bike died. It scared me pretty good. The next day, full of confidence, I took the bike for a ride in the woods, and ran out of fuel in the middle of a mudhole. A couple days later I pushed the bike over a mile after the carby sucked dirt in.
Ever since then I've been addicted to bikes. Currently I own 10 of them, 7 yamaha ITs, a 73 AT3, a 1990 KX500, and a 2009 KTM 200xc. In 2009-2010 I attended YTI for motorcycle technology, but mostly used the skills I learned to fix my own bikes and help people out on the side. My first race was in 2011, and it came as second nature to me. One day I would love to own my own shop and race every weekend. To me, there is nothing better than racing, and I pride myself in my ability to keep pushing where others give up.
For the 2015 racing season, I hope to compete in as many races as money and my health will allow, do my best to promote my sponsors' products, while gaining as much experience and knowledge as I can.
Riding Goals
I would like to compete in more places, local and out of state.
