Personal History
I did not start riding motocross until I was 10 years old. Since then I have absolutely loved riding dirt bikes and the challenge of training to get better. I love everything about motocross, but my favorite thing is racing! Unfortunately I have had some setbacks along the way. I suffered a severe injury in 2021 after crashing at a dirt bike training school where I almost lost my leg. I broke above and below the knee and severed my artery behind my knee but they were able to put in a bypass graft and save my leg. As a result of this injury I’ve had to undergo ten surgeries over the last 2 years. This I believe has made me tougher and more determined to win, but it’s affected my ability to really get my speed back due to recovery time after each surgery. I am a fighter and am training harder than ever to get back my speed since my last surgery in August, which should be my last for a while! I am currently making straight A’s in school and work hard on our farm to help out. I have a younger brother and step-dad that ride dirt bikes as well so it's a family sport.
Riding Goals
To get faster every time I ride and improve my endurance. To train to be more disciplined to put in the hard work it takes to make it in this sport. I am a very hard worker and typically am the last one on the track when training. I want to make it to Loretta’s this year in the 125 class and ride solid there. I’d love to keep advancing in motocross.
Competitive Highlights
I have qualified for several regional races, but unfortunately have had bike issues or illness/injury that has prevented me from getting the results I had hoped and actually making it to Loretta's. I have won supermini and schoolboy classes on my 85 and excited to ride my 125 this year.
