Personal History
Hi My name is Mikey, and I'm 7 years old. In June of 2012 I got my first bike which was a Yamaha PW50. This was the greatest gift ever because it introduced me to motocross. My second bike was a KTM50 Pro Jr . In the last 7 months my riding skills have really progressed and i have now moved up to a KTM50SX. I'm very excited that I will be racing in AMA District 34. I will be racing in the 4-6 year old 50cc class. I also play basketball and baseball but Motocross is my favorite. Last season I attended many open practices at different local tracks. I really love going to the track because I get to ride and get to spend the whole day with my family and my friends. My dad says as long as I try to the best I can it doesn't matter where I finish. I would ride everyday if I could but I live in NY and we have lots of snow. My parents say as long as I do well in school I will be able to continue to ride. I have been getting really good grades this year in school. I plan on attending every race in my district in 2013. I will keep you posted with my results. My parents say the most important thing to remember is to have good sportsmanship and to have fun.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are to improve my form my throttle control and my lap times. Someday I would like to be as fast as Ryan Dungey.
