Personal History

Hello,

My name is Michael Maze. I am from Tulare, California. I am 20 years old. I began riding at the age of 5. I dedicated my whole childhood to riding and racing. I participated in numerous races across the United States. (Lake Whittney, Mosure Texas, Oak Hill Texas, World Minis, Mammoth, Ponka City Oaklahoma, Dodge Amateur National, Florida Mini Os, Loretta Lyns, Lil Oakie, KTM Challenge, Etc.) I won races left and right. I was having such a great time! However; curiosity got to me. I was home schooled my whole motocross career. I hit my freshman year of school and decided I wanted to be like the rest of the kids around me. I wanted to go to school. I wanted to experience school, and the life of a "normal teenager." Riding and racing came to a hault for a little while. I never quit riding and racing. It's my passion. I just stopped doing it everyday. Once I graduated high school, I fell in love. I soon got married to my wife Julia. We now have gorgeous daughter together. I started my own lawn care and maintenance company. I work hard daily from sun up to sun down to provide for my family. I feel as though I can make a career out of motocross. Now is the time to do it! I am ready to get back into motocross racing. I have been riding 3-4 days a week, and working out every chance I get. I would like to participate in the 2016 outdoor series. I'm ready to hit the next race at Hang Town on May 21st. Any sponorship would be greatly appreciated.

Riding Goals

I have many riding goals. First of all, I want to start by racing at the first 2016 Motocross Outdoor race at HangTown. I have raced HangTown before two years ago. I did well for my first race. I made it to the main event. I am ready to try again! I plan to do well at this race and hopefully get a sponsorship. I plan to progress and try my hardest. Secondly, I plan to race every race I can possibly attend. Money is tight on my end, but I will do my best to attend every race. The more experience the better. I feel as though I can compete with the top guys in the 250 class. As a kid I used to compete with Cooper Webb, Jesse Nelson, & Joey Savachi. These men never took a break with their career. I can respect them for that a lot. I wish I never stopped doing what I love. However, it's never too late to get back into it. I am ready.

Competitive Highlights

I have won a few amateur nationals as a kid. ( Mammoth & Dodge)
