Personal History
My name is Michael Parker I'm 16 years old From North Carolina. I am an Eagle Scout and a dirtbike rider, those are to two things in my life. I am the first rider in my family and I got into riding fast. I had wanted a dirtbike since before I can remeber, I got my first bike when I was 15, it was an Apollo 125cc, as much as I regret having to work on that bike constantly I learned a lot about bikes and how they work allowing me to understand my machine more. After the 125 I moved up to a Yamaha TTR-230 and I got more interested in trail riding and enduro stuff, I quickly got tired of the power in the 230 and moved right up to a YZ450f and still currently have it, I use the bike for a combination of track and trail riding, I consider myself a very skilled trail rider but beginner track rider. All I do in my free time is work on my bike and ride, riding is my favorite thing to do. That's my story.
Riding Goals
My goals for riding is to work on my track riding, I'd like to work on my turns and landings on the track and also my starts, I feel very confident in my trail riding but I would like to work on choosing the better path while riding and making path decisions earlier before I reach them, overall I'd like to become a better rider and a well rounded rider.
Competitive Highlights
I personally have not competed much and would like to work on attending more races during the season.
