Personal History
After taking a 15 year break from racing and nearly 10 years without a bike at all I decided this was the year I wanted to get back into the sport. Why did I take all that time off? I started a business and I fully believe that anything worth doing is worth putting 100% effort towards. My business is now to the point where I can enjoy some of the fruits of my labor and the need for more than just working on the business led me back to Motocross.
After 4 chamionships in 3 years I'm being moved up to Expert and will compete in the 30+ and 40+ A class for 2024.
Riding Goals
After a very successful 2022 and 2023 season I will be moving up to the 30+ and 40+ A classes.
My ultimate goal for 2024 is to advance past the Area qualitier for Loretta's and make it to the Regional qualifier.
Competitive Highlights
In my first year back racing after a nearly 15 year break I really didn't know what to expect. The bikes are so much faster than I remember and there are a ton more riders than in the past. Overall I'm very happy with my performance this year in both classes.
I was able to repeat as 40+B champion this year and unfortunately do to a late season injury wasn't able to best my 3rd overall in the 30+B class of last year. I ended the year in 3rd this year as well.
Next year I will move up to the Expert class and compete in the 30 and 40+ A classes.
