Personal History

Hey my name is mikey and heres a little bit about me. I live in Royal City Washington, it's out in the country. I'm pretty much not country at all but I enjoy the laid back style. Racing motocross has taken me all over the northwest. Im currently riding for Motosport Outlet, Shumate Motorsports, TBT Suspension, Decal Works, Blitz-Vision, Pro-Wheel Rims, Pro Taper. How I got started riding and racing was by watching people on TV and I thought it would be pretty fun to ride and then eventually race. So i asked my mom if she would purchase me a motorcycle, if I worked it off. I was only 15 years old when I started riding. After going down and riding for a couple of weekends at Toes Motocross Park, (which is only a couple of miles away from my house) the owner Steve Eilers came up to me and asked me if I would be interested in racing. I told him yes that I would be dedicated 150%. Thats when he took me under his wing and started coaching me for my first series which would be in 2005-2006 Northwest Arenacross Nationals Series. My mom took me to my first race ever. My first race was in Monroe Washington in the Northwest Arenacross Nationals Tour where I placed third that race. I have loved it ever since and can't get enough of riding and racing.

Riding Goals

For my future goals I want to win the 2008 Western Washington Championship Series in the 125 and 250 Junior classes. My goal is to be a national pro. Riding my bike and practicing have become my life. I have even given up my high school sports to concetrate on my goal because I want to suceed in this. When I was injured I saw things in others and I applied them to my riding. I am aslo confident in my riding because each time I get to the race I know I'm going to be out front. To do this I will have to practice every day that I can because practice makes perfect. The days I am not practicing I will be working out in our home gym that is set up for motorcycle traing to stay in shape. to do this I have to be dedicated 150% to practicing, training, and racing to go far in this sport which I really want to do. In four  years I want to be a top local pro in the Northwest. My goal is to keep my grades up in school because school is important and I want to keep my GPA of a 3.617. I like this sport because of the hard work that is required for success. I just like every part of racing.

Competitive Highlights

I don't really have any competitive highlights because I just want to make a name for my self and so I take a win how ever I can get it and I race from weekend to weekend given it 150% every time from start to finish at every race. I also wouldn't be able to do any of this if it wasn't for my mom and so I would like to thank her.
