Personal History
My name is Dr. Michael Averett and I am a college professor at Washburn University in Topeka, KS. I have have been riding and racing since 1991. I currently race national and regional hare scrambles in the MidWest United States. I am an intermediate rider and I am hoping to advance to the AA class in the next two years. I am currently sponsored by my local dealership, Cycle Zone KTM, Answer Racing, Eks Brand, and Pro Taper. I have been a loyal customer, and rider, for these brands for the past two decades. I am looking to add a few more sponsors to my program. I have activated each of these brands in my community and have successfully encouraged both dealerships and friends to use these products. I am well-respected in the pits and I pride myself on promoting my sponsors with dignity and class.
Riding Goals
Over the past ten years I have transitioned from motocross to woods racing. I have moved through three different classes in the past five years and I look forward to moving through another class at the end of this season. I am currently an advanced B rider and I hoping to be advanced to the A class over the winter. My ultimate goal is to move to the AA class.
As a racer, I would like to win a few regional series this fall and I would like to be advanced. As a person, I am working on creating and maintaining my own race team. I currently have a race team that operates as a LLC. I would like to grow that brand and expand that team.
As a sponsored rider, I would like to represent your brand with class and dignity. I would also like to incorporate your brand in my community. I would like to be the mouthpiece for your company at the races that I attend and grow your brand through the older, disposable income demographic that I represent.
