Personal History
Hi my name is Micah Specht. I come from a small agricultural town in south east kansas where everyone knows everyone. I work on the farm side of things around here running any and every type of farm/ construction machinery. I have always wanted to ride and race motocross! My parents couldn't ever afford for me to have a bike when I was younger much less be able to go race. Now that I can afford it myself I have purchased an 08 crf250r in 2018. I rode it for maybe 3 hours and it grinded the crank bearings to pieces. I now realize how difficult this sport is just to get to the starting gate. I am outgoing and love this sport more than anything. Willing to do whatever is necessary to push the sport and continue to grow as an athlete.
Riding Goals
My riding goals for the end of 2019 into 2020 is to make as many of the Kansas and Missouri state races as possible, as well as start my supercross and arenacross journey. Start getting holeshots in the novice class and start placing top 5 in the classes I enter in. Hoping to move up to a and b classes by the end of next year to push myself to the top of my abilities.
Competitive Highlights
Finished one position shy of better than half of both classes my second time ever racing. Lots to improve on but completely figured out where I was in my class which is a huge mental boost
