Personal History
My name is Max R Corbett i live in wolverine michigan i am 30 years old and race the district 14 hare scrambles series in michigan. I also will race some oma races and the jack pine national. This year i will be going for the championship in the 2 hour b class or the 3 hour b class, i have not made up my mind buy am leaning towards 3 hour. I have been riding for 10 years and up to 2006 i raced quads then made the switch to 2 wheels, since then i raced motocross here and there winning 450b classes at my local track and others in the northern michigan area, i did some fair races and had some good results. Last year i tried my first hare scrambles and loved it right away and worked my way into the top 10 at the races i attended, since then i have been working hard towards this year were i will compete in all of the races. When i am not racing hare scrambles i will take my free weekends and race motocross or fair races were ever i can. I am not the best rider but i work hard and will win races in my class this year, and i will be on the line at every race going for the championship.
Riding Goals
My goals for this year are simple i want to be in the hunt for the title in the district 14 hare scrambles and finish well in the nationals that i am able to attend.
Competitive Highlights
My biggest highlight was breaking the top 5 at the battle creek hare scrambles it showed me that i am fast enough and if i train hard i can put it together and win races, in fact if i wouldnt have run out of gas and had to quick switch to reserve on my ktm i might have won and would have kept my current spot in second.
