Personal History
Hello, my name is Mavrik and I am currently 7 years old. I live in Oklahoma with my mom, dad and older brother. I started riding when I was 4 years old and I have loved it since the day I started. My brother and I started riding out in the pasture a couple times a week. We eventually had a small track built, so I am able to ride every day after school. I also like riding my mountain bike with my brother/friends and playing Xbox. When I was 6 years old I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. I thought my life would never be the same. It has now been over a year and I am handling it a lot better. I refuse to let this disease hold me back from the things I love to do.
Riding Goals
Riding is the one thing I can do and not worry about anything else going on around me. The adrenaline rush I get from jumping and going full throttle is the best feeling in the world. I want to continue to become a better rider, learn from my mistakes and to learn more about the sport. My number one goal over the next few years is to make it to Loretta Lynn's!
Competitive Highlights
I joined Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association (OCCRA) in the spring of 2017 in the 50 C Class. I finished the season in October and was the overall division leader for the 50's.
My first motocross race was in the summer of 2017 and I walked away with 5th in the 50 Sr and 50 open. I also raced in the 22nd Annual Goldrush at Hallet Motor Racing Circuit in the 65 class walking away with 2nd place.
