Personal History
Maverick Burkhalter is 8 years old and loves riding his dirtbike. He started on a CRF 50 in 2021, ran that bike to its limits; and now upgraded to a 2022 KTM 50. My parents have built me an at home track on our acreage outside of Houston that I practice almost daily. The 2022 race season he competed in all of the D20 AMA races and did well. He progressed onto the D20 AMA State Championship in Kemp,Texas where he placed 9th overall. It was his first race season and we felt he did really well his first year, especially after bouncing back from two wrist fractures right before the season started.
Riding Goals
Maverick aspires to visit all of the tracks in Texas, then spreading his skills around to the other tracks in the States. Maverick plans to participate in the local races and will be starting the AMA district races in August.
Competitive Highlights
Maverick recently started in competing on his dirt bike, but has done exceptionally well.
