Personal History
I am a U.S. Army Infantry veteran which has given me a strong work ethic and a never quit, never give up attitude. At age seven I started riding a hand me down KX65 around the yard and local trails. At 10 I started racing and riding BMX which I continued through my military career stopping at age 23. At 23 I bought a YZ250F but was only able to ride for 3 months due to being recalled by the Army. Then in 2013 at the age of 27, I bought a 2012 KX250F and with the exception of an eight month break beginning in late 2013 and ending in mid 2014 due to old Army injuries, I have been riding three to five times a week. I believe that age is just a number and will continue to push myself to get better and be faster as long as I feel it is safe to do so. I am very competitive and have the drive to take my riding as far as I can before it is time to hang up the boots. I would be a great asset to your company visually and vocally as I travel all over Texas to ride and race at different tracks to gain experience and become a faster rider.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are very simple and realistic. I wish to be top 3 in three more C class events then move up to B class. In B class I hope to gain an overall series win before the end of 2016. At that time I wish to move up to A class and have an overall series win before the end of 2017. This year (2015) I wish to qualify for Lorreta Lynn's in the 250 C class and finish top 20 overall.
Competitive Highlights
My first race was at Red Roost Mx and I finished 2nd overall. In the first moto I had a bad start and was ninth off the start and faught my way to 2nd place. In the second moto it was another bad start and I found myself in tenth place into the first durn and fourth coming out, then it was another hard fight for a second place finish. Since then I have planned to race six races, yes SIX races that have all been postponed or cancelled due to rain.
