Personal History

The age was 9. The year was  '98.

"my warhorse was an ‘88 XR80 with the Petina of a Buried War Relic worthy of Antiques Road Show. Like a fire breathing dragon of dope freshness, it burned your eyes like mace."

I started makin moves (mainly towards the hospital) almost immediately. After two months and tireless training in my parent’s backyard-- my vintage steed and I were ready to own some tracks. Although hindsight is for people who can’t own every aspect of life, I might have driven my '88 XR80 off the deep end when it came to track selection. I was humbled but let’s move on before I lose integrity.

“Web Crawler and Yahoo must’ve thought I was already too legit cause the only track they showed me was Buddscreek. In sum the whole experience was like Disney World...but with more sweaty dudes and fewer Cinderella fanny packs"

Somehow between age 9 and 27 I developed a few rudimentary skills to stay upright. I stopped falling and started winning races which I got sick of pretty fast.

From here I decided to embark on the journey to college- a place where professors make you feel like you're always in last place. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2012. Thanks to the support of my fam I was able to ride a couple weeks a month while pursuing my degree. When I needed a break from school womanizing and Jager Bombs I cooled my exquisite jets by riding some moto.

I get pretty boosted whenever I  take a minute to reflect how much awesomeness I share with the world everytime I grace a track with my presence. From crashing my brains out in my backyard on my yz80 to laying down scrubs and whips that hurt my homies feelings—

Since I can’t say this and sound genuine without breaking character, break character:

My first time at Budds I gazed in awe at some of the dudes who were legit the moto game (Pastrana most notably) hoping someday I could have even half their ability. Thanks to gopro and occasional photos, I have moments that got me all like damn I’m surely not Pastrana.. but I have become the caliber of rider that my 9 year old, Rugrat-shirt-wearin-self had only dreamed to one day become.

I still love motorbiking just as much as I did when I was begging my dad incessantly in 1st grade. I derive developed skillsets from it that I have applied to other aspects of my life with tremendous success. I don’t foresee a time when there isn’t a link between moto and other aspects of my everyday life.

Riding Goals

6. My Goals for 2019:

  • Stay healthy and continue training hard at the gym 5 days a week.

  • Continue to place more emphasis on strength training geared towards improving muscle memory for those long motos.

  • Perpetually Push myself to advance my skill sets and in turn speed in a safe, calculated manner.

  • Carry my Progression, Experience and associated Confidence from my feats  in 2015 into 2016 as I Adamantly try to qualify for Loretta's in Junior 25+ and 2 Stroke.

  • Like a Wolverine all Amped Up On Rabies, come out swingin in the various District 7, MDRA and Master Series'

--> rewarding my sponsors for their support with numerous top finishes and increase   brand awareness

  • throw down buttery scrubs n huck tasty gaps—the types that make homies question their masculinity.
