Personal History
Hi, I'm Ella, and I’ll be turning 15 in February. I race supermoto and road race motorcycles with my local organization Northwest Mini Moto in Washington State and Oregon, and I’ve been riding since I was three years old. Motorcycling is truly a family affair for me—my dad is my mechanic, RV driver, and fellow racer. He’s been riding since he was six and has taught me so much about bikes and racing. My mom, who works in sponsorships with the McLaren F1 team and has 15 years of riding experience herself, helps me understand the world of sponsorships and supports me every step of the way.
I started on a PW 50, then moved up to a KTM 50SX before getting a Honda CRF125. When I started racing supermoto, I rode a YCF 125F, and this year, I’m stepping up to a Honda CRF150R for the 2024 race season. Outside of racing, I love spending weekends riding with friends and visiting family—my biggest supporters. Racing is more than just a sport for me; it’s a way of life and something I’m incredibly passionate about.
Riding Goals
Riding is a lifelong passion for me—it’s been a part of my life since I was born, and I can’t imagine a future without it. I ride for the thrill, the fun, and the amazing opportunities to meet new people and build lasting friendships.
My goal is to continuously improve every year, pushing myself to new levels of skill and competitiveness. Someday, I hope to reach the professional leagues and compete at the highest level. I’m also passionate about showing the world that girl riders can be just as good—or even better—than the boys. I hope to inspire more girls to join the sport and race competitively, proving that there’s no limit to what we can achieve.
Competitive Highlights
I race with two different organizations during the season, including one where I compete against men of all ages. None of them are my age, but I’ve proudly beaten many of them at various tracks and races. This has been a huge accomplishment for me, and I’m proud to show that girls can be just as skilled and competitive as the men. I'm really enjoying the support of my sponsors who have enabled me to be even more competitive with my racing during the season.
Balancing racing with school is another achievement I’m proud of. I’ve managed to maintain strong grades while pursuing my passion on the track. My family and I consider this a major accomplishment, and it’s something I strive to uphold every year.
