Personal History

Born in Southern California , Matt Harris was brought up into racing from an early age! His family has been involved in racing since the late 1960's. In 1979 Matt's father bought him a suzuki jr. 50 where he would learn to ride at the infamous Saddleback Raceway Park. Matt soon after began a long racing career as local intermediate/pro rider in Southern California. Matt has been on both ends as a rider and a mechanic and worked for team stiffie suzuki in 1999.

During the week you can find Matt hard at work for the state of california as a heavy equipment operator where he helps build new schools for kids to learn. After work Matt usually spends his time at the gym training for racing or at the track clicking off motos to prepare for the weekend races.

Matt Harris was brought up by old school morals in the fact that you have to earn respect its not just handed out. You have to work hard to get what you want. Nothing is for free in this world you have to go get it!
