Personal History
My name is Matthew Harper and I'm 7 years old from Shady Point, Oklahoma. My favorite hobbies are motocross, and football. I love motocross so much that I've decided that I want to do it full time and not to continue playing football. I got my first dirt bike when I was 6 ½ years old. It was a CRF 50. I raced it all of 2024.
Riding Goals
I ride because I love it. There is just some special feeling when you put a helmet on and take off on your bike. I feeling I cant yet describe. I do know nothing else makes me feel this way.
My mom tells me I have a great uncle that raced motocross professionally. He passed away on a track in California back in the 90's. My mom has been riding since she was 8 years old. I guess you can say i ride because its in my blood.
goal for 2025 is to improve on my cobra FWE23. I have only been riding it for the last 6 months. I also have been branching out to other tracks trying to get out of my comfort zone. I still have so much to learn.
Competitive Highlights
In the 2024 season I placed 3rd in the 4-6, and 2nd in the 50cc open at Ascot Park MX. At South Of The Ozarks in there 2024 season I placed 4th in the 50cc Open, and 4th in the 4-6. These races where raced on my 24CRF50
I'm 2025 I competing in 2 local series races and making some of the Oklahoma state championship series races on my Cobra 50FWE23.
