Personal History

I've been riding dirt bikes since the age of 10 back in 2000.  My few first years I was coached by my father and his good friend riding the woods, being yelled at to STAND UP and other tips along the trail.  Around 2002 I got my first true MX machine a CR80 Expert.  My dad made a deal that if I got straight A's and B's in school all year he would take me to Colorado Springs for the Donnie Hansen Motocross Academy. That was the most memorable motocross experience I think I'll look back on for the rest of my life.  I gained so much knowledge from Donnie and watching his son Josh demonstrate the technique he was teaching us.  Many years after that I raced the local District 18 mx races and dabbled with some arenacross and hare scrambles.   Once I got to the point of going off to college I had no time or money to continue my amatuer MX career.  Now I've been working in my field for a few years after graduating college.  I have more of an urge/drive to get back at the moto lifestyle and live the life I love to live.  I plan on traveling as much as possible to the best motocross tracks in the nation this year and hitting the most races as financially possible

Riding Goals

This year I plan on getting a good training program going.  I am a member of RIDE Organic Training Facility in Bethalto, Illinois. "Ride O" is only 10 minutes from work so I will have many opportunities to get motos in during the week after work, along with weekend trips to some new tracks I've always wanted to make the trip to.   Once I'm at a comfortable race pace I plan on racing a handful of 2-stroke events along with running the 2-stroke class at any local events.   Staying healthy is my main goal so I can chase points this season in the Mid America Motocross Series.  Oh ya, AND REDBUDDDDDD for the amatuer day this July.

Competitive Highlights

August 11th 2019 at the Flying W Ranch Spring GP,  I entered my first race in the Pro class.  I was more than happy to get a 3rd overall with minimum time on the bike prior to that.
