Personal History

I am currently in the United States Army Special Forces. I have been riding dirt bikes my whole life, racing for about 5 years as a kid from the age of 10 to 15. 6 months ago i returned from Afghanistan and decided i wanted to get back into it. I was moved to be an instructor for the next three years which gives me usually 4 day weekends and alot of time to ride. Four months ago I bought an 07 Yamaha YZ450F and began to train at least three days a week at local tracks to prep for the up coming series. I am starting to race the D29 summer-fall series and the Carolina Outlaw series. My first race was sunday the 20th of July which i placed 2nd in the 25plus amateur clase and 1st in the MX C Class. I feel i am going to be able to start dominating these classes and move up classes pretty fast.

Riding Goals

My goals for the next year is to dominate the classes i am currently racing and move up classes. i want to by the end of next year be racing in the pro classes. i feel that is an obtainable goal. I train with a pro rider and every day we go to the track i get better and better and closer to being at his lever.

I am also buying a YZ250F so i can race in more classes and get more experience and exposure.

Competitive Highlights

My first race back last week on the 20th of July i raced in two classes, the 25+ amateur and the MX C class. In the 25+ amateur class i place a solid 2nd, battling the two motos with the same rider. There were 24 rider on the gate, i feel was a very good first showing for me.

In the MX D class there was only 15 riders on the gate, from the hole shot in both motos i was in first and never looked back.
