Personal History
I started riding dirtbikes 19 years ago with my brother. My father put me on a PW80 for my bike and I immediately fell in love. I knew even at the age young age of 6 I was never going to give up on riding. I started to race flat track at the age of 7 and haven't looked back since. Even after all these years I still receive the continued support from my family and friends. I was blessed with my first son 4 years ago, who is a mini me. As soon as he could talk he has wanted to have his own bike to ride. Now him and I have matching bikes to ride around and get him ready to race. One of the best life goals I have is getting my son on his bike and out racing. According to him, he beats me all the time. Along with my riding or racing my son, I work at the main Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram dealership in the area. I have been working in the auto industry professionally since I was 16 and as the lead transmission technician for the last 3 years.
Riding Goals
There are a few goals I have for the following years; have fun, get my son racing, learn and improve, and hopefully clinch some championships. The main reason and a good rule to have when riding is to have fun, what would flat track be if it wasn't fun. Now that I have my son on his bike, I want to be able to teach him on how to ride without his training wheels and have him out on the track. From the looks of it this goal should be coming true soon. Now over this past year I have learned a lot about my own riding and how to improve and want to be able to continue doing this my riding career. This is going to be the only way to hopefully become pro level soon. Long term goal is to listen and learn and push myself to become the best rider I possibly I can and winning is a nice plus!
Competitive Highlights
I have two main highlights from this past year that I am proud about. During the WHR this past season I came in first for the open am and unlimited m/c class. After taking some time out of racing coming back and coming home with a win feels like a great accomplishment. I completed the year with coming in second at the Spokane speedway 250/450 class for the season. With coming in with a strong year, hopefully again this year.
