The doctor said that i have only two more weeks of doing nothing, then i can ease back into riding. but for now ill just be watching some friends and waiting.

I broke 5 bones, got a bad concussion, and 8 stitches from crashing recently. You can see the video of this at www.youtube.com and searching matt wilkes crash

I raced the LL qualifier, unfortunately moto one i messed up on my start and could only manage to pass a few people. Moto two i crashed going up a hill (i have a picture of that) and could not get the bike back up due to my feet slipping out from under me during the pick up. But it was fun and got me pumped for my upcoming season! next race is hopefully on the 22nd of march. ended up a total of 45 of 50, which is much worse than i had hoped to do but provides some motivation to go train harder!

Yesterday December 1st i practiced at NCMP, i will be practicing almost every weekend to get ready for the upcoming race season.

I went to North Carolina Motorsports Park and practiced with my brother twice over labor day weekend.

I moved my YZ250F down the north Carolina, so i will be riding there now, Im real exited, and i hope to be riding every weekend.

I practiced at Englishtown MX on July first. I went aboard my Yz250F and did real well besides 2 crashes near the end.

I plan to move up to the 125C class soon, i have been practicing at raceway park Motocross, and decided i will be riding my yz250F in the next few races.

I raced at pagoda MX on Sunday april 1st and placed 12 out of 15. it was raining but still a complete blast! I did not crash and stayed on the gas through the rain.

After a rough crash at my house, i found out i had a broken knee cap, this left me off my bike for around 5 weeks, then i found out my suspension was messed up, and that took a few months. But now im back on the bike and apparently my winter training has paid off because i am atleast 75 percent faster than last year. i found this out recently after going to englishtown mx and thinking about how this year and last year went. So im back on the bike and extremely exited to start the new season!

In the past few weeks my family has decided to attempt to move to North Carolina, we are currently looking around in the chapel hill and Raleigh area.
