Personal History
My name is Matt Westmoreland, I started riding when I was 4 years old on a Yamaha 4 zinger quad I rode the wheels off that thing and shortly after moved on to dirt bikes. I started racing when I was ten and made it to intermediate by the time I was 18. Unfortunately in 2002 I broke my leg while I was riding I5 MX and was not able to continue racing but was able to ride for fun. In 2004 I met my wife Christine and started a family, I have three great kids Ryder who is 9, Kayden who is 8, and Mason who is 7. Since they have gotten a little older I have been able to get back into racing.
Riding Goals
I plan on joining a vet race club to get back into racing, i am currently riding a 2006 RM 250 and looking to go out and have some fun racing the two stroke.
Competitive Highlights
I made it to the Intermediate level racing the local series at LACR, Racetown, and other Southern California tracks. I won a summer seires at Sunrise (Racetown) in 2000 and have done a lot of local weekend races and had good results.
