Personal History

I have been racing since I was 8 years of age and have been into motorsport since I was 6 when I was bought a 50cc dirt bike. I became interested in biking after practising on my 50cc dirt bike in local fields and on motocross tracks that cater for children. My dad had heard about a local Quad racing club (Nora MX) which went down well with the whole family even mum, when I was given  my first quad I was really excited to I started my first year of racing at the age of 8, jumping onto a Quadzilla pro shark 100cc standard. With it being my first ever season of racing I was nervous at the start however, throughout my career in the quad scene my confidence and riding ability has just kept on growing even though I have broken a few bones in the past my results have been constant being in the top 10 every year since I started racing my quad bikes.

In 2009 I took on the challenge of a geared quad, Yamaha 250 raptor. Having practiced through winter and put many hours in the gym with my dad trying get my strength and endurance up as I know that it would be really hard to be competitive after I broke my right leg in the previous year, 2008. By the time that the season begins I felt confidence in my ability and health to try to push for podiums but it wasn’t to be thou with bike problems being a problem I finished 7th overall out of 28 riders.  In the season of 2010, I moved up class again to 200/250cc modified. With the my quad having more power than the year before  being able to hold on to it for 15 minutes plus 2 laps while trying my hardest would be a challenge let a loan compete for points. Entering this season I felt that I was going to struggle as I’d had a lack of practise time on my quad bike compared to the other riders, even thou I felt like this I came 5th overall, I also outgrow my quad bike, Yamaha 250 raptor. So my dad purchased me a 250cc hybrid as seen at the bottom of this email.

With a lot of hard gym sessions and more and more time spent in the garage getting the bike rebuilt ready to have some more fun and wins! Not knowing how many others would be in my class I just kept on training and keep on going in really long bikes when I didn’t have enough money to go to the gym every other day.  Entering the season, I felt really confident. I know that I had the bike and I know if I just kept on pushing and always finish I could win the championship from the start which I did comfortable as I didn’t do the last 2 rounds out of 10 rounds in the season. Leaving me to be 250cc open champion 2011

Which leads me on to this season, 2012. Moving up again to the rookie 450cc class on my brothers on quad, Honda TRX 450. Entering the 2012 season I did lots of training throughout the winter break again to gain stamina and strength. Pushing myself in every race in the season allowed me to gain the 4th place. This please see below my 2012 quad bike at the last round of the season, muddy but while worth it, 4th overall.
This season I am moving up to the next group called the Clubman class to push myself to a higher and harder level.

Riding Goals

Next season i want to move up again to the 'Inters Class' so that I'm competing with the best British quad rider therefore I will be improving more and more so that i can be just like my hero 13 times British Quadcross Champion. I hope that I get a chance to be as good as he is.
