Personal History
My names Matt Fegan, im 17 years old and i love to ride. I havent done much racing untill the past couple years. I have a job and i pay for all of my stuff for my dirtbike so it is kind of hard to make enough money to support a sport as expensive as motocross while still paying for diesel to get me around in my f250. My little brother has been the main focus in my family and gets the most support for his school team sports unlike i get for my "hobbie" as my dad calls motocross. it would be awesome if i could get a few sponsors to help out with expenses for things like tires, chains, and sprockets.
Riding Goals
My goals are mainly to get more into racing and to become faster as the year goes by. I feel like the more i have been going to practices i have been getting faster just teaching myself since i dont have the family background or support as other racers who have been doing it their whole lives.
Competitive Highlights
In my first race at MPX i placed 14th out of 30 some racers in the open novice class. It was only my 2nd time ever at the track and i felt that for my first race ever it was nice to be close to the top 10 although i went down in my 2nd moto and lost positions that could have allowed me to be in the top 10.
