Personal History
My name is Mason Maahs. I am a 19 yr. old graduate of Altus High School, in Altus, Oklahoma.
I started riding motorcycles when I was 4 and started competitive racing when I was 6. I am very fortunate to have a dad that also loves to race. We built a track behind our house to practice on. I currently race in the college boy, 250 mod., and the 450 mod. classes.
I took some time off to participate in my high school sports, but now that I have graduated I will be able to put all my effort into racing. I am a dedicated rider, have a good attitude, and the will to win.
Riding Goals
My goals are to get in the best possible shape, practice as much as possible, and win some championships.
Competitive Highlights
My earliest big win was when I won the KTM Challenge at the Dallas Supercross in 2001. From there I got to race inside the MGM in Las Vegas. I finished 4th there. I got to race against some of todays best racers. Blake Bagget, Eli Tomac, Justin Starling, and Grant Ransdell were all a part of the KTM Challenge in Vegas.
My most recent highlight was having a podium finish at the Ponca City Nationals. I came home with a 3rd, 4th, and 6th place finish.
