Personal History
My name is Mason Matthies. I am 12 years old. I live in Southern California and I love to ride my dirt bike. I have been racing and riding since I was 7 years old. I enjoy traveling to races all over the US, meeting new people, and riding new places. I have a sister that watches me race and I have great parents that support my racing. I am in the 6th grade and work hard to maintain my grades and physical fitness so that I can continue to do what I love.
Riding Goals
My goal is to find ways to be successful in whatever I do. I have changed my riding disciplines to help me get experience in different areas, and to help build my endurance. I love Motocross, but have done very well in off road racing. I would like to continue building on my success in off road racing, and gain more recognition in hopes of getting some type of factory or team support that will enable me to continue doing what I love to do.
Competitive Highlights
I have raced Motocross since I was 7. I started racing WORCS and Desert races when I was 9. I won the WORCS 65A class championship in 2011, and again in 2012. I switched to National Hare and Hound racing in 2013 and earned an AMA National Champion Title the same year. I have worked hard and dedicated my time and training to be successful in what I do
