Personal History

My name is Mason William Gehring. I'm goin on 21 years old and getting  ready for the 2011 season. I'm a follower of my savior Lord Jesus Christ, Without Him I'am nothing. Family and friends are very important to me and I thank them for there support. I work full time for my Dad's business called Select Exhaust as a service writer/ technician. I work hard for my money and a part of it goes torwards motocross. I've been riding since I was 8 but started compitition when I was 16. I rode a lot of trails but when I got on a track I can't enjoy trails as much. I get super pumped for my next event. It's hard to explain to someone that hasn't been there on the 40 man gate. Your lined up with 39 other riders with the same expectations to get that hole shot and win the race. They just don't understand. Every year I invest my time and hard working money into this sport and never look back regretting it. My other hobbies are riding four wheeler, snowboarding and working out. I will do all I can to be the best representative, ON or OFF the track,  to the companys who sponsor me!  A BIG THANK YOU!

Riding Goals

One of my goals this year for 2011 season is to get faster and flow out on the track. I currently made my goal last year, to bump up to B class! I'm super pumped for the Open B competition. I think I'll do just fine. I'll enjoy this season even more then last!

Competitive Highlights

I believe all my competitions were highlights in my life. Last year was a good one. I found out that the four stroke's are really a nice bike. I was a two stroke guy till my injured buddie let me borrow his 07 CRF 450 for the rest of the season. Before that I was riding a 01 CR 250. It was fast but the handleing can't beat the 450's. I fell in love with that bike I bought it for this season's races. I had the best hole shots and results with that bike then I ever did with my 250. Now I need new graphics for it and I'm trying to gather all my sponsors to put them on the 450!

Another highlight is 2010 season, getting first place for the first time in my competitive life. It is an awesome feeling to be first in the pack! It was only for the first heat though...but WHO CARES!
