Personal History
im 15, and i attend public high school as a sophmore. ive been riding since i was three, my first bike was a pw50. ive raced since i was five locally and nationals that would come to our area. The past four years i have not raced , as we have not had the financial means to support a " race program. I did however continue to ride and practice every weekend going from 85's to a 250f. This year , 2008 we went to a yz250 and my family has been supporting me at the racetrack. I have been racing the largest races and series in our area to get good competition and will be going from novice to intermediate very soon. My dad still rides with me every weekend and my mon still has a bike of her own, we enjoy motocross as a family very much.
Riding Goals
I would like to be in a position to race frequently, having a "good program" in place is a must for consistency and safety. I expect to turn intermediate before 2009 and would like to compete in a few nationals next year. My imediate expectations/goals are to be top 10 in intermediate/ regional competition this last quarter of 2008 and top 5 intermediate/regional during the 1st quarter of 2009. My goal is to learn and develop my skills further so that i can be competitive as a professional motocrosser. Therefore, my ultimate goal is to maintain good grades in school and turn pro or have a pro career before attending college.
Competitive Highlights
I was fortunate to attend the KTm challenge at the Dallas SX in 2001, i was # 14 and i had a blast! I have attended a number of nationals on 50's, 65's and even 85's , always made the main show and always trophied!!! In 2004 my dad and i both won the overall in our classes in the top texan, gnc series . I also tried cross country while on 65's and went from amateur to expert in less than one season, but my passion is motocross.
