Personal History
I have been riding motorcycles most of my life. I started roadracing in 1990 with the Central Roadracing Association in Brainerd, MN. In 1997 I started racing AMA Pro Roadracing in the 250 class. In 2005 I came back from an injury and started racing motocross. My daughter also races, this year in the 9-13 yr girls class and also 9-11 85 class. It has become a family affair with my stepdaughter working at many of the races and my wife making sure we get to the track!
Riding Goals
In 2009 I am planning to race in the D23 Harescramble and Enduro series. I hope to place in the top 10 in my class. I am also planning to race the Elko/Mankato Motokazie Series in the +30 and +40 classes. My goal is to win the +40C class in the Motokazie series and the +40C harescramble class!
Competitive Highlights
I was an AMA Pro Roadracer for 6 years until an accident in 2003 made me retire. Since then I have been racing motocross, supercross and harescrambles. In 2008 I finished 5th overall in D23 Open C Harescrambles, in the Elko/Mankato Motokazie Series I finished 8th overall in +25C and 7th overall in +30C.
