Personal History

I'm 33 years old. I started riding when I was 11 and have been glued to bikes ever since. I recently got into racing hare scrambles and enduros and I like it a lot. I go riding every chance I get with my friends and always have a great time.

Me and my wife have two kids ages 14 and 1 and we have another on the way. The one on the way will be my first boy and I already have a dirt bike picked out for him!

I'm a Union Ironworker. It keeps me in decent condition so I can ride.

Riding Goals

I want to race the entire Aces (Appalachian Championship Enduro Series) series next year. Aces is made up from a few different clubs that put on enduros. It's a pretty big deal in southern Ohio. I raced three this year and had a wonderful time. I learned how to race the time keeping format and I'm ready for next year.

I also want to race a few random harescrambles next year.

Competitive Highlights

As far as competitive highlights, I don't have anything spectacular. My most proud accomplishment is that I'm still healthy. I was in 6th place after the first three enduros this year in the Vet B class which I thought was good considering I just got into offroad racing this year. I never raced any more or I'm confident that I could have held my position and possibly moved up. I was a decent mx'er when I was younger. In 2003, I had a bad crash that ripped my colon and damaged my right shoulder. After that crash, I was never the same. I lost some of the aggressiveness on the tracks, but I found that I still have it in woods racing. So I'm going to give it my best and see how I do.
