Personal History
Hey guys, my name is Mark Chaves and I'm from San Jose California! I've been riding my whole life, and was born into a racing family. I raced 65cc and 85cc B classes until a knee injury stopped me from going any further. Now I'm back on the bike riding in the 250C class in northern California. I've been working with Jeff Pestana from MxClinic to get me up to my full potential. I can't thank him enough for some of the help he has given me. I also ride and practice at 408MX in San Jose, and they provide a great track to get some awesome practice on, without it I don't know where I would be. I put in 110% when I train and when I ride to be the best rider I can be, and I also put in 110% when promoting my sponsors who help me and hope you can be a part of that. Everything I do comes mostly out of my pocket, I pay for my parts, gear, gas, race entry, and everything else. Anything helps and is appreciated.
Riding Goals
My goals in this 2013 are to run the full CMC, and AMP GFI series in the 250C class, and to also run some Arenacross races. I plan on getting at least a top 10 in points in each series, and hopefully by 2014 I will be able to move into the 250B class. I'm training for the end of the 2012 right now to finish off the year strong in 250C. I really need to thank all my sponsors for making all this possible next year and hope to have the same sponsors on for 2013, and also add some more into my team.
