Personal History

I grew up in Pennsylvania riding a 1978 Yamaha YZ 80 as my first dirtbike at age 8.  My Dad and I cut many trails into the land around our house and started riding trails in Marienville, PA.  I later moved onto a 1980 Honda XR 80 then a 1990 Kawasaki KX80 BigWheel!  That thing would rip and had monoshock!! As I grew so did the bikes!

As I went off to college, much like most college students, I had very little time or money to ride.  I was broke but had dreams of getting back to riding!  I graduated as a Physical Therapist and moved out west to Colorado in pursuit of better skiing, hiking, camping, mountainbiking and of course...better dirtbiking.  When I moved to Colorado, I met a beautiful girl that was into the same things I was!  She was from Montana.  We moved to Montana and I continued to trail ride.  In pursuit of friends and family to ride with I went off to the motocross tracks to ride.  I knew nothing about jumping but quickly became addicted!  I soon was enrolling myself into the High Country Motocross Association in Montana!  I ended up racing for 3 seasons and advanced into the Open Jr. and 450 Jr classes and advanced to the Intermediate class!  Meanwhile I tried to race every Hare Scramble and Grand Prix I could find!  It was really where my heart lie and had the most fun!

My wife and I then had our first beautiful little boy, Logan!  We decided to move to Colorado for better job opportunities.  I continued to ride 3-4x/week at the amazing tracks of Colorado!  I then continued to hunt down off-road races.  I then enrolled in the Colorado Off-Road Championship Series!  What a blast!  I raced in the Vet B class and had a blast!

I raced the rest of the CORCS series and moved from 3rd to 2nd and finished 1st over the last few races!  In 2013, I advanced to the Vet 30+ A class.  After a couple races in 2013, my wife and I decided to make our move back to beautiful Bozeman, Montana.  I look forward to continuing my racing in the Montana XC Series this year!
