Personal History
I served in the Marine Corps for 8 years. It was there that I developed a strong sense of competition. Once I was discharged I immediately started racing hare scrambles and enduros. I've been doing it ever since with no signs of slowing down!
Riding Goals
I'm 48 years old and am competing at the top of the skill level in District 14 Hare Scrambles. Not too bad for an old guy! It's fun to chase after the young guys and to keep them honest. My goal is to simply stay competitive and have fun.
I am so dedicated to the sport that I became the Hare Scramble Chair in 2011 and have been serving since then. I want our series to grow.
Competitive Highlights
I finished 6th OA in District 14 Hare Scrambles 2012. Racing is a high in it's own right; for me it's a way to stay fit and get out of the house.
