Personal History
My name is Mark Bahrijczuk and I currently attend Arizona State University and am majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I love my family and it is hard to afford college and race a bike at the same time so it always helps to have sponsors. In the winter I like to snowboard on my time off from school. Most of the extra money I make goes towards my bike and thats the way I like it. My family means everything to me and help me out with paying for the races. Everything else including parts and gear I have to pay for on my own which is extremely hard to do with college.
Riding Goals
Why do I ride? I ride because it gets my mind off of everything and no one in the world knows that feeling unless you ride a dirt bike. Motocross has been a lot of my life and would give anything to be at the pro level. I want to race Loretta's this year in hopes of a amateur national championship in my class. I ride because of the adrenaline rush that it gives me and I will always ride until I lose that adrenaline rush. The following year I would like to be a well known racer that one could simply search on YouTube and find lots of videos about an upcoming star out of no where. My goals are high, but if you put your mind to it you can do whatever you want.
Competitive Highlights
I have been on the top step of the podium in my class in the CRA which is the Competition Riders of America. Racing actually brought my family closer together which is a huge plus. Hitting big jumps has been a huge accomplishment for me and over the years I have finally figured out how to really whip the bike which makes me one of the happiest kids in the world. Knowing that you are the first to cross the finish line and you get to throw a massive whip over that jump is an accomplishment to me. Any small race that I have been in may not seem like a big one to big companies, but to me and my family it has brought joy to us and thats what the sport is all about to me. Winning can come easy if you have the right support and dedication to the sport.
