Personal History

I'm Mario Nieto, I am 17 years old and I am studying Mechanical Engineering because I love everything related with motors. I've been riding since I was 6 years old but at the age of 12 years old I had to left that because my family suffer of a problem of bad economy. Now, a year ago, I had the opportunity of buy a Suzuki DR 350 and I'm back doing what I love, riding. I work repairing and giving service to moto and quad shocks and forks, and all related with the motors of motorcycles and construction machines, my father taught me all I know about this. The gains that I receive working are destinated for my studies and also for the bike and what I need to ride, but this is an expensive sport and sometimes is hard. I started to race in local and regional championships of off road here in Baja, because if in other locations in the country the soccer leads the popularity of sports, here in Baja nothing beats the off road. I want to achieve experience and championships in these racing organizations in Baja and my next goal is to compete in the SCORE International Championship, which is the most important championship of off road in the world.

Riding Goals

- The first one is to race the entire championship of ZR Promotions and the championship of BORP. - In the next year I want to buy another bike more professional and destinated to off road. - 2 years further if it's possible I want to participate in a SCORE International race. - Obviously I want to improve more and more.

Competitive Highlights

I don't have a lot of time racing, but in Santa VerĂ³nica Hare Scramble I was the only racer in a street legal bike which is heavier than the other ones. The point is that many people after pre run the course decided not to race because the course was too difficult, but not me, I raced and I surprised some people.
