Personal History
I picked up dirt bike riding on my own when I was 19 years old. I saved up and bought my first dirt bike, taught myself how to ride and entered my first race 6 months later. I made a ton of friends at the track that helped me grow as a person and a rider. I was in college when I bought my bike, and worked full time at a Ford dealership as a service advisor. I graduated with an associate's degree and moved to Kansas City to start a job as a graphic designer for BikeGraphix.
Riding Goals
I've been there a few years now, and regularly compete in Motocross both locally and regionally as well as woods racing, enduro, and hare scrambles.
I want to become the best all around rider I can be and regularly challenge myself as such. I would really like to compete at Loretta Lynn's as well as a GNCC. I'm very active and interested in fitness, so endurance is rarely an issue for me, more so just experience and talent.
I know that better riding comes with more quality hours on the bike, and that's what I'm working on.
Competitive Highlights
I have qualified for several Lorettas regional races and did my best on tracks I've only ever seen on tv. I ended up traveling to Kevin Windhams Farm 14 as well as Spring Creek and experienced so much there. I won Nitro Arenacross Overall championship in 2018 in women's. I was 2nd regionally in 2017. My first year racing I won a local track series points Championship in women's also.
Some wouldn't consider it a highlight but in November of 2018 I broke my collarbone (my first broken bone) and then November of 2019 I broke my femur on a big double.
These injuries have grown me and shaped me more in the last two years than the four years riding prior combined. I have come to respect my limits but still have confidence in my own skills and what I am working towards.
