Personal History
Marco is an American and Mexican Professional Athlete competing in Motocross, Enduro, Offroad Racing and Circle Track Car Driver. He began his professional career in 2000. By age 18 he was competing at a professional level in Mexico and the United States. Winning his first MX Championship Pro-Class in 2008.
Riding Goals
Marco’s passion for extreme sports extends through his adrenaline and velocity while he’s behind the wheel. He always has one goal in mind and it’s to win. His motivation is driven by giving his best at every single race. It requires hours and hours of training, healthy eating, and strong physical preparation. His training is key to stay focus, healthy and consistent before a competition.
Marco states every race becomes harder and harder, but he keeps setting higher expectations and his tendency is to keep pushing for a win. He continues to strive for more Championships at the National and International levels. He continues to thank his parents for their continuous support, and his family, his sponsors, and friends for always providing their support.
Competitive Highlights
CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008 - 2022
Marco began competing at a professional level Winning his first MX Championship Pro-Class in 2008 in Chihuahua, MX.
2009 & 2010: SX Mexico Nationals- won 1st place both years. 2009 & 2010: MX New Mexico Pro Class Racer - won 1st place both years. He had consecutive excellent years in his participation in the expert category.
2011- 2013 Off-Road Racer- winning all three years 1st and 2nd place. Per his consistency during the season, he was able to classify himself to places of privilege. He had and excellent year in his participation in the expert category.
2014 & 2015: Samalayuca National Desert Race - Marco finished 1st place both years and was named “King of the Dunes Race” for his consistency, preparation and his passion for extreme sports.
2015: MX GP Pro-Lites Race- won 1st place in his category. 2016: Arena Cross Championship Mexico Nationals- with
different challenges, he was able to obtain 1st place.
2017: Circle Track Dirt Racing Car – winning his first “Rookie of the Year” award.
2017: Glen Helen California - 24 Hr. Race – won 1st place.
2018: Off-Road Gas It New Mexico Racing Series – won 2nd place. 2018: Texas State Championship- Car Class 19 Off-road Driver (side by side) – won 1st place.
2019: Score Baja San Felipe 250 Pro-Moto Limited– won 1st place. 2019: Score Baja 400 Pro-Moto Limited – Won 1st place. Marco had a perfect score obtaining the Championship (Pro-Class). 2019: Score Baja 500 Pro-Moto Limited – won 3rd place.
2019: Score Baja 1000 Pro-Moto Limited – won 3rd place.
In 2020, he competed in The Serial Enduro Cross, in which he obtained 1st place in the National Experts Category (6hr race).
