Personal History

My namn is Marco Lewentdorff and I'm 25 years old, coming from Denmark in Europe. My Dad who has been riding himself since the 1970's brought me into Motocross when i was 3 years old and I started to race when I was 4 years old and just went on from there.

I have always had one and only dream to come to America and chase my dream as a Motocross rider. I went to California back in 2006 for the first time and raced some races as an amateur and watched the Supercross races in California. I went to Florida in 2007 to see Orlando Supercross and Daytona Supercross and then got back to Europe to get ready for the upcoming National series in Denmark. I rode the 450 class for the first time and had a great year and turned pro as I ran away with the title.

In 2008 I was all set and done to go to America again to race the Supercross series for the first time  and I was talking to a really big team for helping me out with a deal and maybe see what it could turn out to be. I went to California but I couldn't ride because of all the bad weather but that wasn't the case of my dream to get torn apart. I got a call from my Dad and his company had been dragged down due to the financial crises and that was my year. I went back with nothing and I just had to wait for better times and that went on to be a long waiting.

But now I'm all set and I'm flying over to California this March to chase my dreams and give it all I got! I have never given up on my dream because it had  to get better times.

I have been riding whenever I had the chance and money because it has been a big struggle for me and my family to make a living but finally we are back. I have been keeping me in great shape the whole time so I have been ready when times come.

I know what it takes to be on the top of the podium and I will do all I can to get there. I will represent all my sponsors in the best professional way possible.

Riding Goals

My goals for this year are to ride as many local races I can to get back into race speed. The big goal is riding the AMA Pro National series and the goals are to qualify for every event and get good finishes all summer long.

Competitive Highlights

Won some REM races at Glen Helen as an amateur back in 2006. Winning my national title in Denmark and turning pro in 2007.
