Personal History
Hi, My name is Maranda. I've been riding since I was 6 years old. I first started out on a quad, of course I loved it. My Dad wanted to get a dirtbike, so i tagged along. He told me I wouldn't like it because the only place we had to ride were mountains with tons of rocks. Well, after I finally got the hang of it. (Tons of hours learning to pull out) I fell in love! My first bike was a XR100, I jumped to a TTR-230. I disliked that bike more than anything, i wanted to jump & go fast. That deffinetly wasn't the bike for it. My next purchase was a rm85. I grew out of that within a few weeks. I had a CR125R and then i went to a 2012 KX250f! I'll probably never switch back to a 2stroke. I go to mx tracks probably every weekend, I've been working on the tight turns, doubles, and I've nailed the whoops. I've raced twice back in the 85 and 125 days, just didn't feel ready. This year I'm hoping to race every weekend and really show some improvement! I work at the local bike shop called Northend Cycle, they really have been hooking me up with getting my bike ready and of course the latest new gear! Couldn't do it without them, my family and friends supporting me!
