Personal History

Hello, my name is Maison McHughes, and I am 20 years old. I started riding when I was four and due to financial and bike problems I didn’t get to ride much as little kid. Then when I started moving up in bike size my skills developed more and more, of course right when everything is going good injures start piling up. On an 85cc I broke both wrists, dislocated my right elbow, broke my left ring finger and bruised my liver. Just recently probably a year ago now I bought my 450 and now am looking to compete and just have fun with friends. My skills are far more developed now than even a few months ago. I am looking forward to this 2020 season and the race seasons yet to come.

Riding Goals

My riding goal are to continue learning and developing my riding skills. I want to move my way up the class ranks and of course the big goal is to make Loretta's. I’m not in a rush, I do have a full time job, but I am putting everything into riding and development of myself.

Competitive Highlights

My highlights consist of Euro raceway last year. I managed a 6th overall during a mud race which was my first race since I got my new bike. Archview Mx Park I placed 1st in both moto 1&2. Lincoln Trail was the most fun and I placed 6th for the entire weekend with my forks blowing out in the second moto of the last day. I raced supercross futures this year and although I only placed 37th, I have never raced an indoor race and out of 40 people I wasn’t last. It was also the experience of a lifetime.
